Ms, <br />Baron has worked on several roadway projects including RRR and Roadway Recon- <br />struction projects. Within these projects, Ms. Baron has participated in the design of <br />Roadway Plans, and Signing and Pavement Marking Plans using CADD system (Mi- <br />crostation) and Geopak software as well as pertinent standards. Generated CADD and <br />produced quantities using Geopak for the Computation Book, computed areas, vol- <br />umes and geometric data required. Obtained roadway permits at City of Miami Beach <br />and Miami Dade County and Supervised CADD Technicians in the preparation of road- <br />way, signing and marking, and water main plans. <br /> <br />KEY PROJECTS <br /> <br />APCTE- January 2010 - Present <br /> <br />SR-809 I MILITARY TRAIL, PALM BEACH, FLORIDA <br />Client: FOOT District 4 (Thuc Le, P.E. (954) 777-4552). The project consists of prepa- <br />ration of a Contract Plans Set for the milling & resurfacing of a 3.6 miles of the existing <br />roadway. The basic services provided with the scope of services include the prepara- <br />tion of the RRR Report, the preparation of design exceptions/variations, utility coordi- <br />nation, local government coordination, 'public involvement, preparation of roadway plans, <br />preparation of signing & pavement markings plans, preparation of signalization plans, <br />preparation of the Specifications Package, preparation of the electronic delivery of the <br />plans & specifications, and update/maintenance of the cost estimate. Ms. Baron as- <br />sisted in the preparation of the signing and pavement marking plans for this project. <br /> <br />HORIZONTAL DIRECTIONAL DRILLING OF 20-IN HDPE FORCE MAIN ON NW <br />21ST STREET <br />Client: Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department.This pipeline was designed to by- <br />pass a broken existing 20-in ductile iron force main, which directly served Miami Inter- <br />national Airport. The design of the new pipeline was carried out on an emergency basis <br />to avoid complications and possible MIA down time. Challenges faced by this project in- <br />clude calculating the proper alignment, radius of curvature, and entrance and exit an- <br />gles of the new pipeline to provide sufficient vertical and horizontal clearances from a <br /> <br />CIVIL ENGINEERING SERVICES TO DESIGN STREET AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS . <br />
