Scope: As part of the Miami Intermodal Center (MIC) Pro- <br />gram, a Utility Master Plan was developed and submitted to the <br />different agencies for approval. Relocation of existing water and <br />sewer lines in the M IC area are also part of that utility improvement <br />program. FDOT have discussed in detail, with MDWASD the pro- <br />posed water and sewer improvements related to the construction <br />of the Rental Car Facility (RCF), which is an important element of <br />the MIC Program. APCTE was responsible for preparing the Water <br />and Sewer Improvement Program. This project included coordina- <br />tion with MD-WASD and all utility companies present in the area in <br />order to design a master water and sewer system which included <br />the design of a new regional lift station (PS 101), a gravity sewer <br />system, 12" force main and 24" water main that will provide serv- <br />ices to the future Rental Car Facility and a 30" steel casing installed <br />by microtunneling under the CSX RR. <br /> <br />SR-826/SR-836 INTERCHANGE <br />Client: Florida Dept. of Transportation, D-6; Reference: Jose <br />Munoz, P.E.; (305) 670-2350; Length: 5.6; Project Duration: <br />12/2010 - On-Going. Project Scope: Utility Coordination for this $ <br />564 million project, which includes several levels of ramps provid- <br />ing proper connections between both expressways. Responsible <br />for coordinating utility relocation work within the project limits with <br />Utility Agency Owners, identifying potential conflicts of existing fa- <br />cilities with proposed work, utility coordination/relocation with all <br />different agencies having jurisdiction in the project area like MDX, <br /> <br />Miami Dade County Public Works, City of Miami, Miami Interna- <br />tional Airport, OERM, etc. Design and plans preparation for water <br />and sewer mains thru a JPA with M-D WASD Responsible for the <br />development of Utility Adjustment Sheets, and the design of sev- <br />eral proposed and temporary signalizations within the project lim- <br />its. <br /> <br />DESIGN-BUILT OF CENTRAL BOULEVARD <br />Project Scope: Responsible for coordinating with all Utility Agency <br />Owners with existing facilities within the project limits identifying <br />and avoiding potential conflict with proposed roadway work. Sur- <br />vey and field verify all encountered potential utility conflict. Re- <br />sponsible for ensuring that MDX, MDAD and FOOT Standards <br />policies and procedures, and design and construction criteria are <br />followed for each utility coordination/relocation. Coordinated with <br />FPL to identify Service Points for ITS, Signal, Lighting and Land- <br />scape Lighting. Responsible for the Design and Plans Preparation <br />for Several Proposed Signalization along the Project Limits. Client: <br />MDX/Florida Oept. of Transportation, D-6; Reference: Ariel Milan, <br />P.E.; (305) 670-2350; Length: 3.0; Project Duration: 6/2010 - On- <br />going. <br /> <br />MIC-EARLlNGHTON HEIGHTS METRORAIL CONNECTOR <br />Project Scope: Projects runs from the existing Earlinghton Heights <br />Station locate next to SR-112 and approximately east of NW 27th <br />Avenue west to the new MIC Core Facility locate next to the Miami <br />International Airport. The project included the Site Civil Design, Util- <br />ity Coordination, Maintenance of Traffic (including SR-112 & NW <br />41 st Street), detour plans for the MIC-Earlinghton (crossing), Sign- <br />ing and Pavement Marking (including SR- 112 and NW 41s1 <br />Street), signalization design, temporary signal, and rail substation <br />design.
