Davidson, P.E. <br />Construction Manager <br /> <br />Professional Qualification <br /> <br />Mr. Davidson is a 27-year veteran of the engineering world, a <br />professional offering extensive experience in Project and Construction <br />Management from conception through design development, <br />construction, and certification. He is technically-oriented, with the <br />confidence and ability to accomplish tasks quickly and accurately. His <br />major strengths include: administration, supervision, planning, <br />organization, financial controls, negotiations, and problem resolution. <br />He has proven ability to manage multi-discipline projects and <br />coordinate with in-house and outside department managers and <br />consultants. <br /> <br />Project Experience <br /> <br />South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) Everglades <br />Restoration, Hendry County, Florida - Resident Engineer <br />Mr. Davidson provided Engineering services during construction for a <br />SFWMD $47.5M Everglades Restoration project in Hendry County. This is <br />an 8,000 acre project with extensive earthwork, 20 gated flow control <br />structures, one pump station and 18 miles of underground electric <br />distribution. He is responsible for the review of all shop drawings and <br />RFI's, design clarifications, and construction observation. He <br />coordinates with SFWMD staff, construction management consultant, <br />site inspectors, and contractors. <br /> <br />Project Management for Land Development, Various Locations, Florida <br />Mr. Davidson provided overall project management for various land <br />development projects throughout the state of Florida from client <br />coordination through preparation of construction documents for <br />permitting and project completion. He developed proposals for and <br />executed site design services from master planning through <br />construction completion. He also monitored and administered project <br />budgets. <br /> <br />Miscellaneous Site Development Projects, Broward County, Florida - <br />Mr. Davidson performed civil engineering for site development, <br />interfaced and maintained open channels of communication with <br />clients during project planning, permitting, design, and construction of <br />various projects in Broward County, Florida. He ensured quality control <br />and performed construct ability review for site development projects <br />prior to submittal to permitting agencies and advertisement for <br />bidding. Mr. Davidson also provided the coordination with contractors <br />during construction. <br /> <br />National Park Service Historic Preservation Project, Various Locations - <br />Construction Supervisor <br />Mr. Davidson supervised construction as the resident engineer for two <br />historic preservation projects administered by the National Park <br />Service.
