D. Visit job site to observe area being utilized by pier contractor. <br /> E. Move any stored products, under Contractor's control, which interfere with <br /> operations of the Owner, or Pier contractor. <br /> F. Remove any materials or equipment from the site that offer an objectionable <br /> appearance to the public, and directed by the City. <br /> 1.04 REQUIRED INSURANCE AND LIABILITY <br /> Should any damages from the Contractors operations occur, the City will investigate <br /> claims and notify the Contractor and the damaged party as to its findings. The Contractor <br /> shall be responsible for any damages caused by his operations and shall have appropriate <br /> insurance protection. Contractor shall document all pre existing conditions via photographs <br /> submitted to Engineer 10 days prior to mobilization. <br /> PART 2 —PRODUCTS (Not Used) <br /> PART 3- EXECUTION <br /> 3.01 DISPOSAL AND SALVAGE OF MATERIALS <br /> All salvage materials shall remain property of the City. The Contractor shall be <br /> responsible for disposal of all unwanted equipment and materials removed from the <br /> project area. The following items may be salvaged and remain the property of the City: <br /> Check the list since water is NMB, there are no pumps, electrical equipment, manholes etc <br /> at least that I am aware of. <br /> 1. All valves <br /> 2. Water Meters <br /> 2. Pipe fittings <br /> 3. Pumps <br /> 4. Electrical equipment and panels <br /> 5. Hatches, manhole rings and covers <br /> 6.
