(1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) SECTION F PROJECT #5 (2) YEAR COMPLETED Longboat Key Comprehensive Erosion Control Program Longboat Key, Florida PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONSTRUCTION (If applicable) 1995‐present 1996/97, 2001, 2003, 2005/06, 2010, 2011 BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope, size, cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE Check if project performed with current firm Mr. Mann works as the Project Manager and Senior Coastal Engineer for all aspects of the Longboat Key Erosion Control Program. Mr. Mann has recently worked as co‐project manager and engineer for the evaluation of inlet processes and feasibility study of alternatives to improve sand retainage on the shorelines adjacent to Longboat Pass. Mr. Mann designed, permitted and assisted with construction phase services for two permeable adjustable groins to stabilize a long‐standing erosion hot spot fronting the Islander Condominium. Additionally, Mr. Mann was the Project Manager and Engineer of Record for two permeable adjustable groins, a terminal groin, and a small truck fill to stabilize the shoreline adjacent to Longboat Pass. Mr. Mann also served as the Project Manager and Engineer of Record for the implementation of an emergency nourishment of the northern mile of the Town’s beach. APTIM provided construction engineering services to the Town including a detailed sand quality control and quality assurance program e. (1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) (2) YEAR COMPLETED Curtis Park Boat Ramp Improvements Miami, Florida PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONSTRUCTION (If applicable) 2013‐2017 2017 BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope, size, cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE Check if project performed with current firm Mr. Mann design and permitted boat ramp improvements to Curtis Park, which included replacement of a decayed wood dock, addition of a new center marginal dock to assist in boat launching, repair to the existing boat ramp, replacement of wooden dolphin piles, replacement of a failed concrete bag revetment develop a soil management plan, provide for stormwater treatment, and parking lot expansion. Obtained SFWMD, USACE, and DRER permits. f.. (1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) (2) YEAR COMPLETED Upham Beach Stabilization Project Pinellas County, Florida PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONSTRUCTION (If applicable) 2002‐present 2005‐2006 BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope, size, cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE Check if project performed with current firm Mr. Mann designed and permitted a stacked geotube T‐head groin system to achieve an increased beach nourishment interval. The project included an assessment of the sediment budget to avoid downdrift impacts (2002‐ 2003). Mr. Mann was the Engineer of Record for the 2005‐2006 construction of the geotextile tube groin field. Additionally, Mr. Mann served as Engineer‐of‐Record for the 2011 geotextile tube repair project.
