Plan included site visits to update the structure inventory, consolidation of findings, and development of a plan to assist the Town’s decision‐making process on a multi‐phased, multi‐year capital improvements project. Mr. Swigler was responsible for coordinating site visits, developing the Plan, obtaining permits, and estimating construction costs to implement the plan. d. (1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) SECTION F PROJECT #5 (2) YEAR COMPLETED Gulf State Park, Alabama PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONSTRUCTION (If applicable) 2010 2010 BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope, size, cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE Check if project performed with current firm Coastal engineer and engineer of record responsible for the assessment of coastal conditions and of storm protection alternatives for development of recreational facilities at Gulf State Park, Alabama. The assessment included numerical modeling to evaluate the level storm protection afforded by existing conditions and various dune configurations. Mr. Swigler collaborated with the team’s various engineering disciplines to incorporate structural designs into the assessment and to quantify potential wave loading during a 100‐year return period storm event.
