Verifying the list of subcontract entities, or database, is <br /> properly maintained. <br /> • Develop outreach programs through advertising; broadcast fax solicitations; networking with local <br /> and national organizations such as SBA, applicable trade unions, Chambers of Commerce etc. <br /> • Ensuring the inclusion of targeted business concerns in all solicitations for services or products; <br /> and ensuring that all solicitations are structured to permit the maximum possible participation by <br /> targeted concerns. <br /> • Ensuring that certain solicitations or sources sought are restricted to SDB concerns (competitive <br /> basis). <br /> • Ensuring the establishment and maintenance of records of all subcontract awards to ensure <br /> appropriate documentation of non-selection of bids submitted by targeted enterprises. <br /> • Ensuring the preparation and submittal of all compliance reports. <br /> • Maintaining records and measuring performance against established goals. . <br /> • Advise, train, and foster project management personnel on the purposes of the SB Subcontracting <br /> Program. <br /> • To ensure any provided study or reports are formatted in a manner compliant with the contract or <br /> otherwise acceptable to the City. <br /> • Encouraging all employees and subcontractors to attend off-site training courses offered by public <br /> and private entities in small business development and small business program goals.
