Driscoll, <br />William Tanto <br />Scope of Work: Planning, survey utility locates, design, permitting, bidding assistance The <br />Southwest Drainage Project for Okeechobee County is a HMGP/FEMA project that includes <br />stormwater improvements within three (3) rights-of-way in Okeechobee County and benefited <br />a 170 -acre urbanized area of the County including improved access to a hurricane shelter. The <br />stormwater improvements included the installation of stormwater gravity collection systems <br />with a Hydrodynamic Separator (Downstream Defender) for water quality treatment and a <br />Tideflex Checkmate Valve for backflow prevention purposes incorporated into the project <br />design. This project supported and augmented the protection of the Northern Everglades <br />Ecosystem, the Lake Okeechobee Protection Act, and accomplished objectives of the South <br />Florida Water Management District. This project was 100% grant funded and completed on <br />time and within budget. <br />Design Cost (including Construction Management): $348,870 <br />Construction Cost Estimate: $1,450,000 <br />Actual Construction Cost. $1,392,670 <br />• Town of Pembroke Park - SW 52nd Avenue (North) Roadway & Drainage Improvements, <br />Pembroke Park, Florida <br />Status: Completed 2010 <br />Prime Consultant: CAS <br />Key CAS Staff: Stephen C. Driscoll, Tony Gomes <br />Scope of Work: Survey, utility locates, design, permitting, cost estimating, contract document <br />development, bidding assistance, construction management and observation, survey for <br />record drawings, testing, startup and certifications through project closeout for the <br />construction of approximately 2,400 linear feet of new roadway, 2,200 linear feet of 36" <br />HDPE drainage pipe, exfiltration trenches and 14 inlets.
