This is a multi-year professional engineering services contract on a work order <br />basis. CAS has provided engineering services for the Town's water distribution system <br />rehabilitation and stormwater improvements. <br />Projects Completed: <br />Town Water Distribution Improvements consisted of the installation of approximately 1,215 linear <br />feet of 12 -inch water main, 13,850 linear feet of 8 -inch water main and 1,050 linear feet of 6 -inch <br />water main, 37 fire hydrant assemblies, and the transfer of 370 new water meters for a complete <br />retrofit of the Town's water main infrastructure. This project was funded through FDEP's State <br />Revolving Fund Program. Total design cost including construction management for the project <br />was $317,441. Total construction cost was $2,200,000. The project began in May 2009 and was <br />completed in November 2011 without liquidated damages. Keener, P.S.M., James Driscoll, Al Caruso, E.I. and Tony Gomes. <br />Town Stormwater Improvements Phases III and IV were designed and constructed to be <br />consistent with the town's overall master plan. The project consisted of a stormwater master <br />pumping station with submersible pumps, 14,500 linear feet of DIP drainage pipe and force main <br />(ranging in size from 16" to 72"), 205 drainage structures and 7 outfalls. Design costs for the <br />project were $1,263,240. Total construction costs were $7,667,276. The project duration was <br />three years and was completed in March 2011 without liquidated damages.
