CAS has worked with the City to provide roadway and drainage improvements. <br />Past projects include the survey, utility locates and design of road and drainage improvements <br />throughout the City. This is a multi-year professional engineering services contract on a work order <br />basis. <br />Projects Completed: <br />SE Avenue K Roadway and Drainage Improvements consisted of survey, design and contract <br />document development, project cost estimating and bidding assistance for a quarter -mile of <br />roadway reconstruction pavement resurfacing, drainage pipe upgrades, Swale restoration, striping <br />and signage. The project began in August 2014 and was completed in January 2015. Design Cost: <br />$37,340. Project design was completed on schedule. Key personnel included: Gene R. Schriner, <br />P.E., Frank Vilar, P.E., and Robert D. Keener, P.S.M. <br />NW Avenue H Roadway and Drainage Improvements consisted of survey, design and contract <br />document development, project cost estimating and bidding assistance for a half -mile of roadway <br />reconstruction pavement resurfacing, drainage pipe upgrades, Swale restoration, striping and <br />signage. The project began in February 2015 and was completed in July 2015. Design Cost: <br />$48,725. Project design was completed on schedule. Key personnel included: Gene R. Schriner, <br />P.E., Frank Vilar, P.E., and Robert D. Keener, P.S.M. <br />Road Resurfacing and Safety Upgrades included the design, permitting and preparation of bid <br />documents for approximately 10,800 linear feet of roadway improvements which included milling <br />and resurfacing, pavement reconstruction, pavement overlays, sidewalk installation, guardrail <br />improvements and pavement marking and signage improvements. The project was funded by the <br />FDOT Small County Outreach Program (SCOP) for road improvements at 6 different locations in <br />City of Belle Glade. The project was completed in 2016. Design Cost: $206,954. Project design <br />was completed on schedule. Key personnel included: Gene R.
