Projects that CAS has completed for the City in the past include water and wastewater <br />treatment plant expansion, stormwater improvements including construction of two (2) master <br />stormwater pump stations assisting in obtaining HMGP, FDEP and SFWMD grants and special <br />appropriations to fund projects, and construction management on utility projects. Ninety percent <br />(90%) of utility projects completed over the last 20 years have been granted funded with CAS' <br />assistance. CAS continues to provide overall Engineering Services to the City. <br />Projects Completed: <br />Avenue L, M, N & 41h Wastewater Collection System Improvements consisted of construction of <br />sanitary sewer improvements along Avenue L, M, N and 41h Street which included the installation <br />of a duplex submersible wastewater lift station, 350 linear feet of 6" force main and 6,344 linear <br />feet of 8"/10" gravity sewer line including seventeen (17) manholes. The project was completed <br />on schedule and within budget. Key personnel included: Gene R. Schriner, P.E., Robert D. Keener, <br />P.S.M., William Tanto. <br />Ranch Lakes Stormwater Improvements consisted of the installation of 7,103 linear feet of HDPE <br />drainage pipe ranging in diameter from 15" to 48", 1,044 linear feet of force main, 76 drainage <br />structures and two (2) duplex stormwater pump stations. Design cost (including Construction <br />Management): $271,175. Construction Cost: $2,031,000. The project was completed on schedule <br />and within budget. Key personnel included: Gene R. Schriner, P.E., Robert D. Keener, P.S.M., <br />Orlando A. Rubio, P.E., and William Tanto. <br />Avenue R Wastewater Collection/Conveyance System Improvements consisted of the installation <br />of 1,200 linear feet of 8 -inch FM replacement, one (1) 180 -linear foot directional drill, seven (7) <br />sanitary sewer manhole structures, 2,800 linear feet of gravity sewer, thirty-two (32) service <br />laterals, fifty-two (52) clean -outs for residential hook-ups, roadway reconstruction. This project is a <br />continuation of an existing system and part of a gravity sewer collection master plan which <br />addresses infrastructure needs within the southeastern residential area of the City. Design Cost <br />(including Construction Management): $47,280. Construction Cost: $426,787. The project was <br />completed on schedule and within budget. Key personnel included: Gene R.
